The net is a seine. For two people,...Dear Leslie,<br /><br />The net is a seine. For two people, each takes a pole vertically and wades through the water using the net like a fence. On the top of the net are floats and on the bottom are weights. I grew up with my father taking my sisters and me seining in creeks and rivers for crawdads and surveying all the variety of little minnows and darters.
