Last image from the Sight Unseen pop up and I saved the best for last. On the second floor (or was it the third?) in the back was a nice pairing of Lindsey Adleman's lighting and some new pieces by Paul Loebach. You can read about them here. I was kind of stunned by Loebach's Can table and light. Somehow his work taps into unexcavated memories for me. This one was of old klieg lights laying around in my grandfather's garage - and place of wonder for me as a child. I am not sure what his inspiration was and his material is shockingly bent wood, but the shape is SO klieg light from old hollywood films. Beautiful.

sight unseen popup/
These two images today are kind of random but I just really like them. I remember giggling when I shot this one with the red square because I felt like the square was somehow communing with those triangles. Geometric shapes crushing on each other from across the room. (I know...I'm a bit crazy! Ha!)
The second I shot because I Love Pencils! How silly and happy I was to see someone design a pencil sharpener? (So happy I forgot to write down who designed it. Sorry!) It is amazing how people don't use pencils anymore but I LOVE them! I write with one everyday and just bought a special eraser to keep in my bag. Best purchase I have made in awhile.

sight unseen popup/roman and williams
I am always happy to see a new bit of work from the firm Roman and Williams. This piece they did for the Sight Unseen Popup was made entirely from the catalog McMasters Carr. I loved the setting of their piece. Even the rope added to it for me.
