ocean beach/lucky 7

I shot this a couple of days ago at Ocean Beach. My closest friends will laugh when they see this because they know I am a little enamored with the number 7. How can I not be? I was born on 7/7! And yet, here we are on Friday the 13th. But I see that as lucky as well. It can only be a great weekend, don't you think? Enjoy it my friends!

ocean beach/san francisco

Sometimes I just need to stare out at the ocean and let my mind go blank. It is a kind of meditation. So yesterday I did just that. And it rained, which made it better.
Back to work today. Shooting in Inverness again. Getting paid to go to one of my favorite spots on the planet is just too good for words!

ocean beach/san francisco

Last Saturday, after a day of rain where I worked in my studio all day (yes, I know...all work and no play....I know....) I was heading home and my eye was drawn to the west. There was light! It had been so long since I saw proper sunlight that I just turned my car and starting driving towards it. This is what I found at Ocean Beach that day. Gorgeous post-storm beauty.
Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

ocean beach/

I have realized lately that I spend an inordinate amount of time staring out my window just watching the world go by. It is a part of my creative process. When I have been working a lot and I finally get a break, sometimes that is all I have the energy to do, but it seems to help replenish the well. Happy weekend, friends. Enjoy the rain (or snow? In San Francisco?).

the pacific/

I shot this image this past weekend at Pigeon Pt. It was on my iphone so I almost didn't post it (image quality, etc.) but there is something wistful and peaceful about it and I have found myself looking repeatedly. Thought I would share. Have a good weekend everyone.
