So much is happening lately and I find myself just craving some moments of quiet to contemplate the last few months of my life. I think my choice of images for the blog is reflecting that. Like this one from Henry Varnum Poor's house. I have paused on it before, but today, I want to climb in, peel back the curtain and just stare out the window awhile.
Your blog is such a pleasure to look at everyday. My shoulders always ease a bit when I see your photos. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome, Abigail. That is so nice to hear. Your comment just made my day.
ReplyDeleteThis photograph is a respite from all the "noise."
ReplyDeleteShort of a cottage somewhere on a bluff in Mendocino, or on a cliff in Big Sur, ready for you to inhabit this very moment, a decent alternative might be: old bathrobe, favorite ice cream, Cary Grant/Ingrid Bergman film, shake, stir, sip.
